Food and Lifestyle Magazine Targets Unhealthy Eating and Lifestyle Habits of Today’s Modern Family

February 16, 2012—Recipes for Good Living Magazine and Bonnie McDaniel are on a mission—to help families achieve a sustainable good and healthy lifestyle! Recognized as one of the fastest growing online magazines, Recipes for Good Living Magazine helps families achieve this goal by gently guiding them in how to change unhealthy habits from the inside out. Launched in June of 2010, the online magazine takes a simple but subtle approach to good and healthy living. The overall theme of the magazine is to work towards achieving balance in how families eat, live, maintain wellness, and ultimately thrive.

Conceived well over a decade ago, the magazine has been a dream of the founder and editor in chief, Bonnie McDaniel who has vast experience in the literary and publishing world as an author, former family and communications editor for Family Digest Magazine, syndicated columnist for Times Community Newspapers in addition to her current and former roles in radio and television focusing on lifestyle and family issues.

Bonnie McDaniel is the director of Good Living Enterprises, which includes the annual Women Are Talking Conference, Recipes for Good Living Magazine and It’s Thyme TV. She is also the author of In The Eye of The Storm: A Celebration of Family and The Real Purpose of Home and the host of Metro Magazine on the ION Television Network. She serves on the steering committee for the annual gala and fund-raising effort for So Others Might Eat (SOME)—a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the poor and homeless in Washington, DC.

Bonnie is also an award-winning restaurateur and innkeeper having won the prestigious Wine Spectator Award and a coveted listing in Select Registry. She has worked as an in-demand professional event planner, specializing in weddings, corporate events and other family gatherings. She is the former national chair for the American Mothers Mentoring Program, served as a contributor to the White House Initiative on Youth, and was one of 130 women selected to participate in the Leading Women Defined Summit. Lifestyle experts Paul Wharton who is a celebrity stylist, Misti Burmeister, Lindsey Mask and Dr. Laura Hills will join Bonnie McDaniel to share secrets to creating a good life and emerge triumphant in 2012. Recipes for Good Living Magazine Celebrates 1-Year Anniversary Issue

Good Living Enterprises, LLC recently announced the 1-year anniversary of Recipes for Good Living Monthly Online Magazine. An online global publication, the focus is on “good living” for the modern family. Designed to be the ultimate resource guide for families, including parents and their children, the overall goal of the magazine is to help readers to eat, live, be well and thrive.

Editor and Chief of Recipes for Good Living Magazine, Bonnie McDaniel states that, “we believe that regardless of who you are, what you bring to the table or where you began, you have the ability to nurture your family, create an environment of love, good health, comfort for yourself, and beautifully share it with your family and friends.”
